I came from a home and history of sexual abuse, which led to drugs and a life on the streets. From the street i cried out to God asking that if He were real, to save me, which landed me in jail the very next morning! From my jail cell, I wrote to one place, and that was the Hospitality Home For Women. They took me in upon my release. The ministry home has taught me how to live a life clean from drugs, grow in the love of Christ, and to build a relationship with my parents and children. My children are living with my parents untill I am able to secure my own home, and I am very grateful for all they have done.
Now I am working a full time job, building and growing in my relationship with Christ, and plan to continue this for the rest of my life. Jesus Christ has restored everything the devil had taken away!

We are happy to report that Carrie is currently employed in a mangament position and living on her own! She is doing well, and is working on moving her kids home with her. She continues to be in our prayers and thoughts.

Mary is the result of many years of prayers offered to God by her family and church freinds. Mary is proof of Gods destiny for our lives, that He sets in motion from the beginning of time.

I came from a life of drugs and violence and a life of living on the street and all that brings. I was in and out of jail, and still the addiction overpowered me, until I ended up in prison. I was charged with the sale of a narcotic.
I realized that I did not want this life anymore...but did not know how to stop the cycle.
Everything changed when I found salvation in Jesus Christ, and He delivered me from my addictions! When I was released from prison, I knew I counld not stop there. I had known of the Hospitality Home for Women, through my sisters church. When I was at the Pima County Jail, the Director of the home came to visit and pray with me. She encouraged me to come into the home when I was released. So here I am, allowing God to finish what He has started in me....recovery, healing of my mind, body and spirit. It is a slow process, but it is worth it and I would not give this up for the world ever again! I praise God for this ministry and all He has done! The glory is all His!

Linda was our first resident when we opened our doors five years ago. After a time on her own, she returned for some guidance and further disciplship. Linda comes from Oregon.

Although I had a fairly normal childhood, I stillgrew up an unhappy person, always feeling that I wasn't "worthy" of anything! This led me to try drugs and an immoral lifestyle as a young adult. Later on after failed marriages, I found myself in several abusive relationships. Then I found my Savior!
Now, thanks in part to the Hospitality Home For Women, I know who I am IN CHRIST and continue to grow in knowledge of Him and The ONE whe sent Him. I am a dughter of The King, I am worht everything to Him and I give Him all the praise, honor and glory, for apart from Him, I am nothing. And in this I am content!

This is Beth and her children Christian, and Jacob. Beth is a great example of the dedication and the blessings that follow the hard work required in the ministry home.

" I came into the Hospitality Home For Women four years ago. At that time my husband was in prison, soon to be deported out of this country, and my two children, Christian and Jacob were in Child Protective Custody. I was homeless for the first time in my life and was without hope or even a desire for living. I had no where tolook but up. Since then God has restored many areas of my life. I have my kids back with me, a stable job and my own home. God has restored many of my family relationships also. I am very blessed to have been able to have had the opportunity to spend the time I did in this ministry home to build a foundation with God and learn how to let go of different mistakes and regrets inm y life and move forward with Christ guiding my path."

Elaine has been in our ministry a little over one year, and is currently making plans to secure her own apartment and live independantly. She will continue to be part of our church body, and we pray for continued healing and growth in Elaines life.

I came from a domestic violence background. For twp years I found myself in and out of several domestic violence shelters. One day I received a paper with information on the Hospitality Home For Women with Missions For Christ assembly. I called and was immediately invited inot this church family where I have spent the last year as a resident of the ministry home.
I now know that with Christ all things are possible, and through this womens ministry, and church body, that I am safe. This house is safety from the storms of life.

This is Shanna. She came to us from a drug rehab in Tucson, with a long history of drug addiction. Shanna had a desire to know the Lord and dedicated herself in every manner in growing in His love and Word. She is currently a teacher in Hospitality Home for oher women to learn from. She loves to dance and wroship before the Throne of her Savior.
Shanna is a miracle!

I was saved when I was eight years old, but many things happened to me as I grew up and I turned away from God and turned to drugs. I was a 20 year crack addict, and looking at five years in prison. The judge had mercy on me and I received probation instead. Upon my release from jail, I went to a three month rehab program and then found the Hospitality Home For Women. It was perfect for me. It got me back to God. I was immersed in scripture and church services, and people who taught me to know God and hear from God myself.
I stayed there for one year and now I have been clean and sober for two and a half years! I teach Bible studies at the Hospitality Home once a week, and reach Missionettes, a Bible class for young girls at my church. Also when the opportunity arises I share my testimony at the Bethany House, a shelter for women and children in Tucson, and tell them how they can have a different, happy, productive life by living for the Lord. I am full of joy and happier than I have ever been in my life!

This is Sherry. Sherry came to us from another shelter, with a lifetime filled with emotional turmoil, drug and alcohol addiction, prostitution and all that lifestyle has to offer....from bad to worse. She left all to follow Christ, and submitted herself to the teaching of His Word. She now works taking care of a woman with cerebral palsy and takes care of her father in his home.
The work The Lord has done in Sherry's life and mind is a miracle!
